This year, The Human Element Project is collaborating with Lutheran Social Services and The Samaritan Center in

Ventura County to invite guests of their winter shelters to engage in Expressive Art Therapy workshops. Each guest is given a canvas, chalk pastels, markers and a choice of hundreds of text strips and asked to compose a visual story about themselves.

Our sincerest gratitude to all those that have allowed us to the opportunity to tell your stories.

Exhibition to come soon!

By mid January, we are about half way through the workshop process. The workshops continue twice weekly at shelters throughout Ventura County. We are currently looking for a location to install the final exhibition.

Written stories from the participants are to come!
